* The Integrated Leadership Program’s "Upward Spiral" concept with arrows signifies the four phases of the Cadet Program. The first arrow is red, representing the encampment's basic students and the beginning of their climb by attending the encampment.

* The "Minnesota National Guard Joint Force Headquarters" emblem: The light-blue and white shield of the JFHQ-MN is behind the Spiral, representing our gratitude of Camp Ripley and the National Guard's support of the cadet encampment and Civil Air Patrol.

* The yellow Minnesota state outline and dark-blue background mimic the wing patch, reminding all that this is the Minnesota Wing Cadet Encampment.

Special thanks to Ace Browning, who researched the heraldry and designed the patch.
